J&K Dodgeball team leaves for Karnataka to compete in Sr National C’ship

JAMMU, Apr 24: Jammu and Kashmir Dodgeball team today departed for Mangalore, Karnataka, to compete in the Senior National Dodgeball Championship, scheduled from April 25 to April 27.
The team was flagged off by Aarti Chowdhary, chairperson of FICCI-FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh, who attended the send-off ceremony as the chief guest. Her presence added encouragement and motivation to the young athletes, as she extended her best wishes for their performance at the national level.
The men’s team comprises Toseef ur Rehman, Syed Altamish Bukhari, Basid Majid, Mohd Arbaz Khan, Rehan Ali, Mohbeen Barkat, Fida Hussain, Mohd Sameer, Shairaz Ahmed, Mohd Irfan, Ayash Ahmed and Mohd Anis. Parvaiz Mushraf will serve as the coach while Mohmood Ahmed will manage the team.
Representing J&K in the mixed category are Manik Kumar, Samar Partap Singh, Harshit Mahajan, Arnav Pandit, Markandey Pandit, Ronik Slathia, Niharika Sharma, Tania, Sanskriti Manhas, Navya Singh, Deewanshi Bhat, Rishik Dhar, Gorian Singh and Abid. Vishali Sharma will coach the team, with Shubam Hans as manager.
