JAMMU, Dec 15: The Jammu & Kashmir football team began their campaign at the 79th NFC Santosh Trophy 2025 with an impressive 3-0 victory over Ladakh in the first qualifier at Mahilpur, Punjab.
The team displayed skill, coordination and determination, setting a strong tone for the tournament. The goals were scored by Aakif, Adnan and Shakir, giving J&K a confident start.
Next, J&K will face Himachal Pradesh on December 17 in their second qualifier, followed by a crucial match against the host team Punjab on December 19. Officials and supporters expressed optimism that the team will surpass last year’s performance, hoping for continued success in the remaining fixtures.
