JAMMU, Nov 27: The Cycling Association of Jammu & Kashmir conducted the official screening at M.A Stadium, Jammu, for selecting cyclists to represent the Union Territory in the 30th National Road Cycling Championship, Odisha, scheduled from December 2 to 6. The screening was conducted under the supervision of Vakeel Singh, In-charge Manager, J&K Sports Council, Om Prakash, General Secretary and Tajinder Singh, Treasurer, Cycling Association of J&K.
As per handout issued after evaluating performance, fitness and technical skills, the following cyclists were selected: Men Elite: Waheed Ahmad Ganie, Adil Teli; Under 23 Men: Adil Altaf, Adnan Badhir; Junior: Arfat Bashir, Saiom Mahajan, Ahanger Jahangir; Sub-Junior: Arslan, Mohammad Adeel, Aakif Noor; Under 14 Boys: Arslan, Sahil Manzoor Para, Hamid; Women Elite: Mehak Mustaq, Ulfat Mustaq; Under 14 Girls: Sobia Manzoor and Hoor-I-Ein Lone. Rayaz Ahmad (Coach) and Om Prakash (Manager) will accompany the team.
