JAMMU, Dec 6: The J&K (UT) Amateur Kurash Championship 2025 concluded at Sacred Heart College, Paloura, here today. Over 247 players from various districts of J&K participated, competing across Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior categories, showcasing skill and determination.
The championship was organized by Jammu District Kurash Association to provide a platform for local talent. The closing ceremony was graced by Rajneesh Gupta (General Secretary, J&K Amateur Kurash Association) as chief guest with Amandeep Singh as guest of honour and Jatin Kumar (Tech Director, J&K Amateur Kurash Association) as special guest.
Officials included Krish, Tapasvi, Naman, Rishab, Lakhveer, Dikshant, Pooja, Shrishti, Sanchi, Abhishek, Gourav, Supriya, Deepak and Vishali Sharma. The Jammu District clinched the title, while runner-up position was secured by Bandipora District, and the 2nd runner-up went to Anantnag District. Budgam District claimed 4th place.
