J&K Amateur Kabaddi Asso announces Selection Committee

JAMMU, June 5: The Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association has announced the selection committee for shortlisting probable players for the upcoming Youth National Kabaddi Championship (Under-18), scheduled to be held at Haridwar from June 28 to July 1.
Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of the Association, said that players for both the boys’ and girls’ sections will be selected during the upcoming coaching camp. The committee for player selection includes Ajit Singh, Sangram Singh, Mohammed Yakoob, Sanjit Kumar, Nisha Kumari, Manmeet Kaur, Naida Devi and Kajal Devi.
He said the panel comprises national players, district secretaries and experienced kabaddi coaches to ensure a fair and transparent selection process. Each team will consist of 14 players in both the boys’ and girls’ categories, who will represent the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir at the national-level Championship.
