Jawaharlal Nehru Science, Mathematics, Environment Exhibition inaugurated

JAMMU, Dec 2: 30th District Level Jawaharlal Nehru Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition was inaugurated by Ch R A Inqlabi, Director School Education, Jammu, at Govt. Model Middle School Satwari, here today.
While Mr Inqlabi was the chief guest on the occasion, HR Pakhroo, Joint Director, Trainings, Principal SIE was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Director School Education stressed upon the organizers to hold such Exhibitions in future in order to inculcate scientific attitude among the new generation to compete with the global development.
He also impressed upon to eradicate social evils like use of drugs, smoking and immoral sex which leads to HIV AIDS etc and advised the students to respect their parents and teachers as well.
Science experts from SIE Jammu, O P Bhagat, Suresh Gouria and Puneet Thakral were the jury members.
Mohinder Singh, Principal District Institute of Education and Trainings Jammu, DIET faculty, Heads of various educational institutions, teachers, parents, students and prominent citizens were present on this occasion.
Later-on, dignitaries and experts judged the exhibits displayed by 200 students from 100 Schools of Jammu District.
The exhibits were on the themes of Agriculture, Energy, Health, Science and Mathematics, Environment and Resources.
