UDHAMPUR, Jan 19: In an effort to raise awareness about female feticide and the importance of saving the girl child, Jan Sangharsh Sanstha organized a cycle rally in connection with upcoming National Girl Child Day. The rally, led by Adv Sanjeet Bavouria, President of Jan Sangharsh Sanstha, aimed to promote the critical message of gender equality and protection of girls.
The rally saw active participation from prominent personalities, including Rajesh Sharma, President of the Cycling Association District Udhampur and Ranjana Sharma, Director of Mind-N-Rhythm Dance Sports Association Udhampur. The event also garnered support from Padmashree Shiv Nirmohi, Jatinder Vermani, President of Beopar Mandal, Yogguru Raj Guru, and several others, including Mahadeep Singh, President of the Sr. Citizen Club, Dalbir Singh, President of the Ex-Serviceman Association, and Azra Parveen.
The rally was flagged off and passed through various parts of Udhampur city, spreading the message of female empowerment and the importance of protecting girl children. The event highlighted the collective effort of the community to combat female feticide and promote equal rights for girls.
