Jammu’s Utkarsh to represent India in Juniors Roll Ball World Cup

JAMMU, June 2: In a proud moment for Jammu & Kashmir, Utkarsh Gupta, a talented student of MHAC Nagbani School Jammu, has been selected to represent Team India at the 1st Juniors Roll Ball World Cup 2025 to be held in Nairobi, Kenya, from June 22 to 29.
Organized by the International Roll Ball Federation (IRBF), the tournament will see participation from over 30 countries. Utkarsh was selected during national trials held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, from May 17 to 22. Aged 16, Utkarsh has earned accolades at various state and national championships, showcasing exceptional skill and sportsmanship. “It’s a dream come true to wear the Indian jersey,” he said.
Madhu Sharma, Head Coach of the Indian Junior Team, expressed confidence in Utkarsh’s performance. The J&K Roll Ball Association congratulated him and extended best wishes. Before departing on June 21, Utkarsh will attend a coaching camp in Pune starting June 6.
