JAMMU, Nov 25: The Jammu Youth Run 2025, held at M.A. Stadium here today, saw over 500 enthusiastic participants, including fitness lovers and youth from across the region. The event celebrated sportsmanship, community engagement, and youth empowerment, with a strong focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle.
The marathon was flagged off by Shiv Kumar Sharma, DIG, Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, and Nuzhat Gul, Secretary of the J&K Sports Council, who graced the event as chief guests. Anissa Nabi was the guest of gonour, while MJ Sunny was also recognized as special guest.
The event kicked off with a high-energy warm-up and Zumba session, which set a vibrant tone for the run. The marathon was organized by INARA Welfare Trust, founded by Aman Gupta, in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council. DIG Shiv Kumar Sharma praised the initiative, highlighting its positive impact on the youth, encouraging them to channel their energy towards sports and away from negative influences like drugs.
