Srinagar, Nov 7: The Inter-District UT Level Athletic Meet 2025-26 for the Girls Under-19 category concluded today at the University of Kashmir’s modern tracks, with District Jammu emerging as the overall champion.
Around 150 athletes from across Jammu and Kashmir competed in a charged and spirited atmosphere, showcasing their skills and determination to secure a place in the UT team for the national-level meet.
District Kathua and District Udhampur bagged the second and third positions respectively.
DYSSO Srinagar Ghulam Hassan Lone, along with Dr. Basharat Ali, Assistant Director, Physical Education & Sports, University of Kashmir, presided over the prize distribution ceremony.
Convenors of various committees, technical officials, and escort staff were also present and lauded for their coordinated efforts in ensuring the smooth conduct of the event.
