JAMMU, Sept 10: The Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Pickleball Association (JKAPA) will organise the 9th National Championship of the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA) from September 26 to 28. It will be the biggest pickleball event ever organized in the Jammu region.
Announced today by the hosting body JKAPA, this landmark championship will bring together top players from across the country, highlighting the rapid rise of pickleball in India and the growing sports culture in Jammu & Kashmir.
“We are proud and excited to welcome the nation’s finest athletes to Jammu,” said a JKAPA spokesperson. “This is not just a tournament-it is a celebration of sportsmanship and unity. Since 2013, AIPA has consistently hosted its National Championships across various locations in India, building a strong legacy.”
The AIPA 9th National Championship marks a significant milestone in the development of Jammu’s sports infrastructure and recognition. By hosting this prestigious event, JKAPA aims to place Jammu prominently on the national sports map and inspire a new generation of athletes across the Union Territory.
