JAMMU, Nov 7: Jammu and Kashmir is set to become the centre of sporting excellence as it hosts the 69th National School Games (NSG) Taekwondo Championship (U-19 Boys & Girls) from November 9. The event will be held at the Indoor Sports Complex, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, under the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) and the School Games Federation of India (SGFI).
A total of 34 teams from across India, representing States, UTs, and educational organizations, will participate. Among the first arrivals are Kerala, Jharkhand, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Vidya Bharati.
Under the leadership of Director General, Youth Services and Sports, Anuradha Gupta and Organising Secretary Vinakshi Koul, the event has been meticulously planned with committees ensuring the highest standards of organization, discipline, and hospitality.
