JAMMU, Apr 17: Jammu team thrashed Jagti township team in the final by 5 wickets and lifted the title trophy of the Kashmir Pandit Premier League (KPL) Cup, being organised by Kashyap Kashmir Sabha (KKS), Gurgaon in collaboration with Sharda Radio at Mohan Cricket grounds, Kadarpur, Gurgaon.
During the match, Jagti team scored 79 runs in 12 overs for the loss of 7 wickets, which the opponent Jammu team chased in 11.5 overs with the loss of 5 wickets.
Rahul Musa of Jammu team was declared as man of the match for scoring 42 runs.
The best batsman award was presented to Aditya Aima of Faridabad team, while as best bowler award was presented to Navneet Zutshi of Gurgaon team.
The best fielder award was presented to Rahul Musa of Jammu team and best wicket-keeper award to Chander Pandita of Jagti township team.
Maximum sixes award was presented to Hitesh Dhar of Chandigarh team and man of the series award to Ramanjeet Singh of Jagti township.
In the first semis, Akshay Koul of Jammu team was declared as man of the match, whereas, in the second semis, the man of the match was awarded to Amit Dhar of Jagti township team.
The members of the KKS, Gurgaon includng Pankaj Dhar, ON Pandita, BL Kaul and Mithlesh Labroo were also present.
The Jammu teams were led by Vijay Aima and Aryan Ramesh from All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS).
