JAMMU, Aug 2: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu added another feather to its cap by participating in the prestigious Welham Boys’ Model United Nations (WELMUN) 2025 held at Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun. Marking its debut at the elite national conference, the school delegation showcased commendable diplomatic acumen and confidence.
The delegation comprising Tanmay, Aadhvik, Ekansh, Keshav, Hargun, Krishnay, Bhavya and Chanasya represented the institution with intellectual rigour and articulate participation in global policy deliberations. They were mentored by Senior Coordinator Munmun Kohli and PGT Physics Nitan Chandel.
The conference was inaugurated by Justice Ajay Bhanot of Allahabad High Court. A proud moment for the school came when delegate Hargun Anand was personally acknowledged by the chief guest during an interactive session-an interaction that highlighted the potential of the young diplomat and inspired the entire gathering.
Hargun Anand, representing the portfolio of Abdul Rashid Sheikh, was honoured with a Verbal Mention award, standing out among students from 24 prestigious schools across India. Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson Rohini Aima lauded the students’ achievements, stating that their participation reflects the school’s dedication to nurturing global citizens and future leaders.
