JAMMU, Dec 3: Jammu Sanskriti School celebrated Special Sports Day to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, reflecting this year’s theme, “Pathways to Possibilities.” The event promoted inclusion, empowerment and the potential of every student.
The celebration was graced by Nitish Rajora, Director Information Department, J&K, as chief guest, who appreciated the school’s efforts in fostering equality and participation. Rohini Aima, Vice-Chairperson of the school, lauded the students’ enthusiasm and determination, calling them the true stars of the day.
The program featured adaptive and inclusive sports activities, including Ramp Walk with Mothers, Lemon Race with Fathers, Unified Races, Hurdle Races, Bocce Ball and Basket & Cone Races. Students like Munib, Owais, Dharvi, Karanveer Singh, Jeevika, Aariz, Anand, Taiaya, Ansh, Jasjeet, Vikrant, Adhyan, and Akruti secured top positions across various events.
