SRINAGAR, Nov 28: Jammu District emerged champions in the Under-17 Girls District and UT Level Badminton Championship held at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar.
In a thrilling final, the Jammu team outplayed Srinagar District to lift the trophy, with standout performances from Yashaswini, Bidhatri, and Shranaya. Earlier in the semi-final, Jammu District secured a convincing win over Udhampur District.
The championship, organized by the Youth Services and Sports Department, also served as a selection platform for players from Jammu and other districts for the upcoming School National Championship.
