Jammu Blue registers 8 wkts win over Jammu Green

JAMMU, Sept 6: Jammu Blue registered win over Jammu Green by 8 wickets in the under-14 five match series, being organized by Jammu Tawi Sports Club at GGM Science College hostel ground, here today.
Batting first, Jammu Green scored 80 runs by losing all wickets in 29 overs. Aarav Mahajan scored 20 runs, while Dikshant Kundal and Avinash Bharti made 15 runs each.
From Jammu Blue side, Sachin was the pick of the bowler with 5 wickets, while Udhay Partap scalped 3 wickets and Nitayam Abrol took one wicket.
In the second inning, Jammu Blue chased the target in 13.3 overs by losing only 2 wickets. Harman played a splendid inning and made half century, while Udhay Partap scored 10 runs.
From Jammu Green side, Abhinav scalped 2 wickets.
Sachin of Jammu Blue was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Madan Lal as umpires, while Sandeep Manchanda maintained the scorecard.
