Jai Baba Hara Peer Club clinches Volleyball trophy

JAMMU, Jan 13: The Peer Baba Hara Peer Sai Committee organized a community Volleyball tournament featuring eight competitive teams from Suchetgarh. The event concluded with Jai Baba Hara Peer Club claiming a thrilling victory over Baba Deep Singh Sports Club in a closely contested final, demonstrating exceptional skill, teamwork and sportsmanship.
The tournament was attended by MLA Prof. Gharu Ram Choudhary and DDC Suchetgarh Taranjit Singh Tony as chief guests, with Mandeep Choudhary, Youth President of All J&K Jat Sabha, serving as guest of honour. The matches attracted enthusiastic participation from local youth, highlighting the growing interest in sports as a positive outlet for energy and talent.
Prof. Choudhary praised the committee and players, emphasizing the role of sports in keeping youth away from drugs and channelizing their energy constructively. Tony echoed the sentiment, stating that competitions like these promote discipline, teamwork, and resilience among young athletes. Mandeep Choudhary congratulated all participants for their dedication and competitive spirit.
Trophies and certificates were presented to the winners and runners-up by the chief guests.
