JAMMU, June 1: The Indian Yoga Association (IYA), in collaboration with India’s International Movement to Unite Nations (IIMUN), hosted a three-day Yoga Conference 2025 at Doon International School, Chowadhi, Jammu. The event aimed to empower youth with practical tools for stress management and emotional resilience under the theme “Stress Management among Youth through Yoga, Naturopathy, and Lifestyle Changes.”
The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain, State Yoga Commissioner and Chairman of IYA (J&K UT Chapter). He delivered a keynote on youth mental well-being and yogic solutions. Yoga demonstrations were conducted by Angrez Singh and Renu Thaper, while Kanupriya Garg, founder of Life of Balance, led pranayam sessions focusing on calming breath techniques. Meditation and bhajan sessions were guided by Sudha Chander Sharma and Anju Bala.
The IYA team included Sudha Chander Sharma (Joint Secretary), Angrej Singh, Yesh Paul Sharma, Abhinandan Jain, Rajeev Gupta, Kanupriya Garg, Anju Bansal and Rajni Bala. The IIMUN team, led by Issa, Maryam (Assistant Director) and Ehsan (Director), actively engaged students throughout the conference.
The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony honouring Dr. Jain for his leadership in promoting youth wellness through yoga and holistic living.
