AWANTIPORA, Feb 7: The IUST men’s cricket team was flagged off for the North Zone Inter-University Cricket Tournament 2025 by Registrar Prof. Abdul Wahid, accompanied by Finance Office Sameer Wazir and Dean of Students Dr. Asifa Baba. Prof. Wahid expressed pride in the team’s participation, highlighting sports’ role in character-building and teamwork. Dr. Hilal Ahmad Rather, Assistant Director of Physical Education, encouraged the players to perform their best and uphold the spirit of sportsmanship. The team will be managed by Dr. Mubashir Hussain and coached by Altaf Hussain Shah.
