Ironman Kapil Arora’s new book ‘Made Not Born’ launched

JAMMU, Nov 17: Ironman Kapil Arora’s new book “Made Not Born: My Incredible Ironman 140.6 Miles Journey from Marathon to Ultramarathon to Ironman”, foreword by renowned cricketer-Harbhajan Singh has been launched today.
The son of soil, Kapil Arora’s new book describes seven useful lessons including how to get started on a running journey, how to train your mind for bigger challenges, how to effectively train for long-distance events, steps to build strength for running, guide to foods which aid performance, nutrition after long workout sessions and interesting facts about the history and evolution of marathon.
Kapil Arora has featured in Story Mirror’s anthology “Kaleidoscope” and authored two bestselling books- “5 Secrets: Time Management Secrets of Ultra Successful People” and “21.1 Running Mistakes.”
The ironman Kapil Arora is a Limca Book record holder, best-selling author as well as a successful corporate professional in the BFSI sector. He is an MBA from Pune University and among the very few Indians who earned the title “Ironman” in New Zealand, where he completed the triathlon of 3.8 kilometres swim, 180 km bike and 42.2 km run.
“An endurance athlete had also completed four consecutive 90 km International Ultramarathons, the ‘Comrades’ in South Africa. He had competed in seven international events, run 11 marathons, 27 half-marathons & three Ironman in four continents so far.”
Kapil has been recently appointed as Fit India Ambassador-an initiative launched by the Prime Minister of India under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. He has also won multiple Gold & Silver medals at State level Athletic meets in track & field championships in 1500 meters and 10000 meters categories.
