JAMMU, Dec 20: The ongoing 29th Inter-District Billiards and Snooker Championship 2025 at MA Stadium witnessed thrilling matches today, with junior and senior snooker producing intense contests.
In the Junior Snooker final, Irhaam Parvez defeated Sourav Santhya in a nail-biting five-frame match with scores of 49-48, 36-55, 42-31, 36-61 and 52-31, showcasing remarkable focus and skill.
The Senior Snooker matches saw impressive performances from top contenders. Rameshwar Shambyal beat Anil by 51-06, 36-30, while Vishal Abrol defeated Ranveer by 41-54, 58-28, 59-17. Other notable victories included Karan Singh over Manan Oberoi by 70-35, 53-29; Kamran Majid over Gurjeev Singh by 63-52, 78-51 and Rajat Sharma beating Vishal Mehra by 47-23, 38-31. Sahil Gupta, Dileep Singh, Jatendra Vaid, Abhishek Gupta, Aman Sharma and Sourav Santya also advanced with decisive wins in their respective matches.
