KISHTWAR, May 28: The Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Kishtwar, concluded the Inter-School Zonal Level Tournament with the participation of over 400 students from various schools across the district. The event was organized under the supervision of District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO), Jaffer Haider Sheikh, and hosted by Zone Inderwal, which provided an enthusiastic and vibrant atmosphere.
The tournament featured competitions in multiple sports, with athletics and cricket drawing major attention. Student-athletes showcased remarkable talent, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the event. The matches witnessed energetic performances, reflecting the growing sports culture in the region.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Jaffer Haider Sheikh stated, “These competitions are crucial for discovering and nurturing young talent. We are committed to providing platforms that help our youth grow through sports.”
