SRINAGAR, May 1: Zone Rainawari today inaugurated its Inter-School Zonal-Level Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Volleyball tournaments at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Rainawari. The event was declared open by senior faculty members Altaf Hussain Haji and Syed Naseer Hussain Rizvi, in the presence of ZPEO Muzamil Ahmad Dar.
Over 230 under-14 boys from Government and private schools participated enthusiastically. A pledge against drug abuse was administered to all participants, promoting a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
In Volleyball, BMS Jogi Lankar defeated BMS Khalifapora (2-1). In Kho-Kho, MS Choudhary Bagh beat GMS Zaildar Mohalla, while in Kabaddi, GMS Zaildar Mohalla emerged victorious over MS Choudhary Bagh. ZPEO Muzamil Ahmad Dar thanked the Zone Rainawari staff for their efforts in organizing the successful tournament.
