Inter-School Quiz Competition held

POONCH, Dec 8: An Inter- School Quiz Competition for the Schools of Jhallas was organized on the topics “History & Culture of J&K, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, Science & Technology, Sports and  Games,“ under the aegis of Krishna Ghati Brigade by Nangi Tekri Battalion at Jhallas Camp, here.
Prof Mussaraf Hussain Shah, Vice Principal Govt Degree College Poonch was the chief guest on the occasion.
Around 200 students from various Schools including Govt High School, Jhallas, Govt Middle School, Jhallas, Baba Garib Das Academy, Salotri, Modern United Academy, Jhallas and Nirmala Convent School, Jhallas participated in the event in which Nirmala Convent School, Jhallas, Govt Middle School, Jhallas and Modern United Academy, Jhallas were declared 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The participants were tested by challenging questions, including the  questions on J&K State, Audio-Visual Round and Buzzer Round.
All participants expressed their views on the subject which were appreciated by all present.
The Quiz Competition conducted by the Army under Operation Sadbhavana to strengthened the bond between Army and the Awam.
