JAMMU, Feb 10: Day 2 of the Martyrs Memorial Hockey Tournament at KK Hakku Hockey Stadium, Jammu, saw commanding displays and a nail-biting penalty shoot-out.
In Pool A, Jammu South dominated South Kashmir by 14-1, with Gowtham MA (Jersey No 15) earning Man of the Match. In Pool B, Baba Shri Chand Ji Hockey Club, Sujanpur, edged past Kathua XI by 5-4 in a tense penalty shoot-out, with Paras (Goalkeeper) named Man of the Match. Meanwhile, Poonch XI defeated North Kashmir by 6-2 and Vishu Sharma (Jersey No 15) was adjudged Man of the Match.
