JAMMU, Dec 19: Skaters of Indian Hawks Sports Academy delivered an outstanding performance by winning 11 medals at the 63rd National Roller Skating Championship, held at Visakhapatnam.
Tamanna Saini emerged as the star performer, winning two gold, one silver and one bronze medal, including the prestigious 42 km Marathon race in a combined junior and senior category.
Puneesh Puri clinched two gold medals in inline skating, marking a successful transition from quad skating. Udhay Narayan secured one gold and one bronze, while Kartikeya Puri added one gold and one bronze in senior events. Samarjot Singh contributed one silver medal. Appreciating the skaters, Ashok Gandotra, Retd. Chief Engineer and Chief Patron appreciated their achievements and thanked the J&K Sports Council and JKRSA for continued support, encouraging athletes to aim for national team selection.
