JAMMU, Feb 12: The Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), Jammu, hosted “IGNITE Your Career,” a two-day corporate exposure event aimed at equipping MBA students with essential skills for the corporate world. The two day event brought together MBA 2nd and 4th semester students for an enriching experience filled with workshops, presentations and interactive sessions.
Day one began with a powerful session on Financial Literacy by Vibhu Goel, owner of VG Training Academy. Students then engaged in a personality assessment exercise, helping them understand their strengths and how to tailor their career paths accordingly.
On day two, Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, Director of IMS Jammu, led a session on “First Impressions Matter,” emphasizing the importance of making a lasting impact in professional settings. A mock interview session followed, providing students with valuable feedback to enhance their interview skills and build confidence.
