JAMMU, Dec 17: International Daily Rising School (IDRS) celebrated its much-awaited Sports cum Cultural Day, Lakshya: Aim High, with great zeal, enthusiasm and spectacular performances.
The programme began with a grand opening ceremony, including torch lighting, march past and ceremonial inauguration of the Sports Meet, followed by races, drills, demonstrations, and cultural performances.
Supinder Kaur, Chairperson, expressed pride in the students’ confidence and sportsmanship, while Raghav Gupta, Managing Director, highlighted the role of sports in building resilience, teamwork and leadership. Dr Atul Hans, Director Academics-cum-Principal, presented the sports report and appreciated the students’ enthusiastic participation. Adv Buvandeep Singh, Administrator, lauded the coaching and organizing team for fostering discipline and determination.
The cultural segment mesmerized the audience, featuring solo and group performances, including the school orchestra. The prize distribution ceremony celebrated achievers, reflecting the spirit of healthy competition.
