JAMMU, Aug 7: International Delhi Public School (IDPS), Akhnoor, organised a grand leadership programme for the academic session 2025–26, celebrating the formal appointment of the new Student Council.
The event began with a disciplined march past, followed by the badge pinning, sash presentation and a solemn pledge ceremony where the student leaders vowed to uphold the school’s values with honesty, responsibility, and dedication.
The newly appointed council includes the Head Boy, Head Girl, School Ambassador, School Representative, Captains, Vice-Captains, Advisors and Prefects, each entrusted with leadership responsibilities across various domains.
The event was honoured by the presence of chief guest Virender Gupta (SDPO Akhnoor), who encouraged students to lead with integrity, courage and a sense of service. He applauded the school’s disciplined environment and leadership culture.
Dignitaries present included Chairman Satpal Sharma, Managing Director Dr. Dheeraj Sharma, Academic Director Dr. K.C.S. Mehta, Principal Vinay Khajuria and Headmistress Aanchal Gupta, along with several special guests from education, law and social service sectors.
