JAMMU, Feb 5: Government Higher Secondary School (Camp), Bohri, Jammu celebrated Annual Day with pomp and show in its School premises, here today.
Students presented a variety of cultural and recreational items which enthralled the audience on the occasion.
The cultural items included Dogri, Kashmiri and Punjabi dances and songs presented by the students of Class 11th and 12th.
Principal of the School, Bal Ji Thaploo was the chief guest, who along with other dignitaries distributed prizes among the winners of various academic and co-curricular activities.
Prominent among other students who were honoured included Head boy, Ayush Bhat and Head girl Vaishali.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Thaploo lavished praise on the organisers for holding the events successfully and for performing in different activities almost to a perfection.
He said studies serve for delight, for ornament and for ability, adding that functions like this inculcate discipline and infuse dynamism among the students.
The programme was coordinated by the staff members namely Amrita Kotha, Sanjay Pandita, Arti Raina, Priya and Yashuraj.
The proceedings of the function were beautifully conducted by the students of Class 11th including Vitasta Raina, Sapna Sharma and Sugandh.
