HS Dodaj wins U-17 boys Volleyball title

RAJOURI, May 4: Scripting a convincing win over Higher Secondary School Darhal, High School Dodaj won Under-17 boys Volleyball title trophy of the Inter-School Tournament at Khawas, Darhal and Thanamandi zones in the disciplines of volleyball, Kabaddi and Kho-Kho, here today.
The tournament, which concluded today was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the overall supervision of Mohd Ayaz Khan, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Rajouri, under the supervision of zonal physical education officers of their respective zones.
Meanwhile, in volleyball Under-17 girls of Darhal zone, Government HSS Darhal defeated GHS Ujhan, while in kho-kho Under-17 girls, HSS Darhal beat HSS Tandkote and in kabaddi Under-17 girls of this zone, HS Nadian prevailed over GHSS Darhal. HS Nadian won kabaddi boys Under-17 title by defeating HS Dodaj.
At Khawas zone, GHSS Khawas trounced GHS Badhal and GHS Dhalari in Under-17 kho-kho and  kabaddi respectively, while at Thanamandi zone, the volleyball boys title went to GHSS Saj, defeating HS Dodasanbala.
Kabaddi Under-17 boys title was won by HSS Thanamandi, which defeated HS Little Angel Rajdhani in the final, while in kho-kho Under-17 boys of Thanamandi zone, HSS Saj defeated HSS Azamt Abad.
In volleyball Under-17 girls of this zone, GHS Rajdhani got better of GHS Thanamandi, while in kabaddi Under-17 girls HS Azamt Abad trounced HS Dodasanbala and in kho-kho Under-17 girls of this zone, HS Dodasanbala toppled HS Rajdhani to win the title.
