Holy Family Convent celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 17: Holy Family Convent School, Nagri, celebrated its Annual Day with pomp and show in the school premises, here.
Mohammad Suleman Choudhary, SSP Kathua graced the occasion as the chief guest and Rt. Rev. Ivan Albert Pereira, Bishop of Jammu-Srinagar Diocese was the guest of honour.
Principal Fr. Soosai Rajan presented welcome address.
The colorful cultural show held the audience in awe and left them enlightened as the show culminated.
The theme ‘Rehmat’ (The Power of Forgiveness) how the present young generation was addicted to unwanted things and brought disrespect to parents and in the society was depicted through a blend of drama and dance.
The chief guest lavished praise for the show. He congratulated the school for taking such an edifying topic which requires a quick moral action on everybody’s part.
The students were awarded certificates for academic excellence.
