JAMMU, Apr 7: Hockey Jammu and Kashmir organised a function to honour its Sub-Junior Women’s Hockey team for their performance in the 16th Hockey India Sub Junior Women Hockey Championship.
Rajeev Sharma Chief Hockey J&K presented a cash award of Rs 1 lakh to the team in recognition of their achievement. Speakers on the occasion appreciated the players and the management for their consistent efforts in improving performance.
Sharma emphasized that discipline and hard work are key to success and advised players to follow the guidance of their coaches. Javed Ahmad DSO Central J&K Sports Council also welcomed the team and praised Hockey J&K for its role in nurturing young talent. The team was also given an opportunity to visit the manufacturing plant of Tata Motors at Jamshedpur.
