Hockey coaching camp from today

JAMMU, Aug 8: After conducting selection trials for 2nd Junior National (Men) Hockey Championship 2012, Hockey Jammu and Kashmir would hold a coaching camp of selected 35 probables at the same venue here from tomorrow.
The said championship will be held at Lucknow from September 1 to 9.
Over 100 players drawn from the districts of Jammu, Kathua, Poonch, Samba, Srinagar, Baramulla and Budgam participated in the trials at KK Hakhu Astroturf Stadium, here.
The trials were held under the overall supervision of Romal Singh, general secretary, Hockey J&K, while the panel of selectors included the former National level players namely Manjeet Singh (BSNL), Indpal Singh (J&K Police), Narinder Singh (AG Office), Aman Pal Singh (AG Office), Sukhbir Singh (Transporter) and Ravinder Singh.
