Hiteshwar, Suvidha to represent India at 7th Sr Roll Ball World Cup in Dubai

JAMMU, Nov 17: In a proud moment for Jammu & Kashmir sports, Hiteshwar Singh and Suvidha Sareen have been selected to represent Team India at the 7th Senior Roll Ball World Cup 2025, scheduled to be held in Dubai from December 14 to 18. Organized by the International Roll Ball Federation (IRBF), the prestigious tournament will see participation from over 30 nations.
Both athletes secured their place on the national squad following outstanding performances at the 20th Senior National Championship held in Indore from October 3 to 6. Hiteshwar Singh, a two-time gold medalist from the 4th and 5th World Cups, will be representing India for the third time, while Suvidha Sareen, a medalist in the 5th World Cup, will make her second appearance.
Expressing their excitement, the duo thanked their coaches, mentors and families, promising to strive for podium finishes. Head Coach Madhu Sharma and Assistant Coach Rita Rehan lauded their skill, dedication, and sportsmanship, expressing confidence in their ability to excel internationally.
The Jammu & Kashmir Roll Ball Association congratulated the athletes and extended best wishes for the Dubai campaign. Before departing, the players will attend the preparatory coaching camp in Pune starting November 10, with the Indian contingent leaving for Dubai on December 13.
