Hisar Club, Ayaan CC register wins in Gufran T20

DODA, May 16: Hisar Cricket Club Haryana and Ayaan Cricket Club Doda trounced Delhi Super Kings and Sharja Cricket Club Doda respectively in the ongoing All India 9th Gufran Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship at Sports Stadium, here today.
Earlier in the first match, batting first after winning the toss, Hisar Cricket Club Haryana scored a decent total of 191 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 5 wickets in the process. Mandeep scored 73 runs, while Haroon contributed 41 runs to the total. From Delhi Super Kings, Rohit and Asif took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Delhi Super Kings scored 184 runs by losing 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, thus lost the match by a narrow margin of 7 runs. Ravinder was the highest scorer from Delhi Super King who scored 63 runs with the help of 1 six and 3 fours, while Razi contributed 22 runs. For Hisar Cricket Club, Manoj took 2 wickets, while Anil claimed one.
Mandeep of Hisar Cricket Club Haryana was declared as man of the match for his best batting performance.
In second match, Ayaan Cricket Club Doda thrashed Sharja Cricket Club Doda by a big margin of 72 runs.
Batting first after winning the toss, Ayaan Cricket Club scored 161 runs. Sohan Singh scored 26 runs while Tanveer contributed 24 runs to the total. For Sharja Cricket Club, Usman and Yasir shared 1 wicket each.
In reply, Sharja Cricket Club bundled out for a paltry total of  89 runs, thus lost the match by 72 runs. Javeed scored 28 runs followed by Yasir who contributed 16 runs. From Ayaan Club, Bilal Ahmed captured 3 wickets, while Abdul Bari claimed 2.
Bilal of Ayaan Club was declared as man of the match for his splendid bowling performance.
The match was officiated by Amit Bansal and Mohammad Rafi as umpires, while Shahid Bashir Pampoori was the scorer.
