Heritage School to represent State in COP-11 Convention

JAMMU, Sept 28: Heritage School, Jammu was nominated by Ministry of Environment and Forests and NGC Regional Resource Agency WWF India (J&K), as the best National Green Corps (NGC) School in J&K State.
Two of the Green Crusaders called Change Agents, Shivakshi Bandral of Class XI and Mohd. Sheikh Najam of Class X of the school would be representing the State in COP-11 Convention on Young India for Biodiversity at Hyderabad from October 7 to October 13,  2012.
UNEP has selected India to host the eleventh Convention of Parties (COP-11) on Biodiversity wherein more than 194 countries will be participating.
Best NGC schools, one from each State have been invited to participate in the Convention to showcase the work done in NGC by the school and the State in last ten years.
