JAMMU, July 11: As part of its ongoing commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD), the Heritage School here today organized a workshop on Pedagogical Skills for its teaching faculty.
The session was conducted by the resource person, Archana Mishra, who brings over 30 years of rich experience in the field of education across India and Bhutan.
Mishra, a firm advocate of learner-centric teaching, scientific literacy and sustainable living, provided valuable insights into the evolving role of teachers in today’s dynamic educational landscape. The workshop emphasized the concept of the teacher as a lifelong learner and a moderator who guides and empowers the students.
The workshop focused on enhancing student engagement, developing student-centred teaching practices and identifying the qualities of effective teachers.
Teachers received valuable tips for hands-on activities and strategies to enhance classroom effectiveness.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal, Akash Pradhan.
