Handball C’ship enters Day 2

SRINAGAR, Oct 15: Three day long 5th J&K State Handball Championship entered day 2 at Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Stadium, here today.
The first match in men section was played between District Jammu and District Kathua, in which former emerged winner by 22-8 goals. The main scorer for Jammu District was Sahil Padha with 5 goals and Utkarsh Raina with 3 goals.
The second match in men section was played between District Poonch and District Pulwama, in which former emerged winner by 16-11 goals.
The third match in men section was played between STC Jammu and Udhampur in which latter emerged winner by 35-33 goals. The main scorer for Udhampur was Amit Choudhary with 6 goals.
The match in women section was played between Pulwama and Srinagar, in which Pulwama emerged winner by 7-2 goals.
Tomorrow, the final match in women section will be played between Jammu and Udhampur.
