JAMMU, Aug 7: Handa College of Education achieved another mile stone by getting NAAC accreditation with Grade-B.
According to a communication received by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, the College was granted accreditation for a period of five years with a CGPA of 2.76 on a four point scale at B Grade.
This grading is done on the basis of assessment of the College on quality parameters laid down by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
Earlier, the college was inspected by the Peer team of NAAC comprising of Prof Rameshchandra G Kothari, chairperson, former Vice- Chancellor, M S University of Baroda, Prof Baljeet Kour Gill, Member Co-ordinator, Principal, GHG Harprakash College of Education for women and DR M S Padmini Head, Department of Education Shivaji University.
The Chairperson of the College, Veena Handa congratulated the Principal, Staff and Students for their whole hearted efforts in making this possible and urged all of them to continue this process of up-gradation and improvement to make the college one of the best in the country.
