JAMMU, May 3: National Rhythmic Gymnastics Judging course participants from all over the Country called on Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu at his Office Chambers, here today.
The participants over 40 in number were led by Ajit Singh Wazir, secretary, J&K Gymnastics Association and vice president Gymnastics Federation of India.
The Vice-Chancellor had informal discussions with the participants, wherein Wazir briefed him about the three day course, attended by participants from different States of the Country, is being conducted to upgrade the Judges Brevet and for the freshers after every Olympic Year as per the guidelines of the International Gymnastics Federation(FIG).
Wazir also informed the Vice Chancellor that the trials for the selection of the National team would be conducted at the MA Stadium Jammu.
Krupali Patel Singh, Arjuna Awardee and FIG Qualified International Judge and Savita Marathe, India’s only Level II International Judge in women Artistic Gymnastics, JK Sharma, Special Secretary to Vice-Chancellor, Ranjeet Kalra, Assistant Director, ASC, S P Singh were among others present on the occasion.
