GNA University organizes Inter School Contest ‘Prativad’

JAMMU, Feb 2: GNA University held annual Inter-School Contest -Prativad at Kala Kendra, here today.
In the Contest, 500 students from 50 schools of Jammu and Akhnoor participated.
The contest provided platform for students to showcase their talent. The event was on invitational basis in which Quiz, Poster Making and Collage Making competitions were conducted.
It was inaugurated by teachers who had accompanied the students from their respective schools. The event witnessed a tough fight amongst the participating students.
The participants were very thankful to S Gurdeep Singh Seehra, Pro Chancellor GNA University for providing an opportunity to win exciting prizes.   All the participants were given certificate of participation. The winners were BSF Sr. Secondary School (Poster Making Competition), S D Tarapuri Public School (Collage Making Competition) and St. Xavier’s Convent Sr. Sec School (Quiz Competition).
All the winners were awarded with trophy and cash prize of 11,000 rupees. Project Model Higher Secondary School and Government Higher Sr. Secondary School, Paloura were declared as first runners- up and second runners- up in Collage Making Competition. SD Tara Puri Public School and SikshaNiketan, Gandhi Nagar secured second and third runners-up position in Poster Making. BSF Sr. Sec School and Dewan Devi Higher Secondary School claimed second and third position in Quiz Competition. First runners-up and second runners-up were given cash prize of Rs 5,100 and 3,100 respectively along with the trophy.
Sunil Sarad, Registrar GNA University, Event Coordinators, Sameer Varma and Rishabh Sharma graced the occasion with their presence.
