JAMMU, Dec 3: GLS Public School, Amar colony, Talab Tillo, Jammu celebrated Annual Sports Day 2015 in its campus today.
The students were divided into 3 groups – Kindergarten, Primary Wing & Senior Wing and separate games and sports activities were organized for each group.
The Games & Sports competitions which were organized included Athletics, Sack Race, Lemon Race,3 Legs Race, Tug of War, Musical Chair, Badminton, Volley Ball, Kho Kho, Marathons and much more. Indoor games included Carrom, Chess, Ludo & Table Tennis.
The management & faculty members emphasized the importance of physical activities in day to day life and shared with the students that how games and sports help them to develop as Team Players and inculcate a spirit of healthy competition among them.
Prizes will be given to winners in the presence of dignitaries and parents in the upcoming Annual Day Function of the school in January 2016.
