JAMMU, Dec 7: Glamorous Cricket Club, Poonch won the 2nd Shaheed Manjeet Singh Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournament, beating LOC Cricket Club by 25 runs in the summit clash.
Earlier, after winning the toss and electing to bat first, Glamorous Club scored 146 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Sachin and Sahil scored 42 and 40 runs respectively. Firdous took 3 wickets, while Aqib took 2 wickets for LOC Club.
In reply, LOC Club failed to chase the target and bundled out for 121 runs in 19.5overs, thus lostthe match by 25 runs. Asif and Yasir scored 34 and 31 runs respectively. Glamorous Club was captained by Pawan Sharma, trainer Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI).
Mohd Hussain Malik, District Development Commissioner, Poonch was the chief guest on the occasion, while SSP Poonch was the guest of honour. Chairman Shaheed Manjeet Singh Club, Mohd Tariq was also present on the occasion.
