GHSS Khellani organizes ‘Prayavaran Mitra’

DODA, July 28: To create awareness among the students and the community about the World Wide Fund (WWF) for Nature India, the Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Khellani, Doda organized a Prayavaran Mitra Programme in School premises, here.
Various programmes on the theme ‘Forests for Sustainable Livelihood’ were held which included Painting Competition on the topic ‘Environment Degradation’, Debate Competition, Symposium and Rally.
The Programme, which was held under the overall supervision of School Principal, Naresh Sharma was participated by 30 students drawn from the institution.
Lecturers Syed Shafyate Ali, Mushtaq Ahmed and Manjeet Singh were the adjudicators of the competition.
Arushi Devi claimed first place in the competition, while Rashika Katoch bagged the second place. Tamanna Katoch got the third place and Waquar Ahmed clinched fourth.
Principal Naresh Sharma distributed prizes among the winners on the occasion. Consolation prizes were also distributed among the participants.
