GGHSS Canal Road wins Inter-School Hockey title

JAMMU, Aug 27: The District Level Inter-School competitions in the disciplines of Hockey and Basketball Under-19 years for girls concluded at KK Hakku Stadium and M A Stadium, her today.
The Tournament was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports as a part of Annual calendar of sports activities under the supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services & sports and Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu.
In Under-19 girls hockey final, Govt HSS Canal Road defeated APS Miran Sahib by (2-0) goals. Payal was the top performer, who netted 2 goals.
The match was officiated by Harvinder Singh, Jagjit, Mandeep, Karanjeet and Gurmet Singh.
In Under-19 girls basketball final, Jodhamal School beat MHAC Nagbani by 5-4 points. Ishika and Dahar scored 2 goals each and Antriksha netted 1 goal.
The match was officiated by Vishal Bharti, Vaneet, Amit Kalsi, Mousmi and Rajesh Bandral.
