UDHAMPUR, Mar 25: Government Degree College (GDC) Neeli Nallah Udhampur launched its maiden newsletter, “Neer: The Campus Chronicles,” marking a significant achievement for the institution. The event, held under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Seema Arora, was attended by distinguished guests, including Prof. Kuldeep Sharma, Principal of GDC Jindrah, Dr. Rajni Bhagat, Principal of GDC Katra and Dr. Shalini Sharma, Principal of GDC Majalta.
Dr. Sunil Tanoch, Convenor of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), delivered the opening address, welcoming the guests. The newsletter, highlighting the college’s academic excellence, student and staff achievements, and community involvement, was then unveiled.
Principal Prof. Arora emphasized the newsletter’s focus on the holistic development of students under the National Education Policy (NEP) framework. She expressed her appreciation for the efforts of faculty and staff in making the publication a success.
The event concluded with the felicitation of students who excelled in academics, sports and cultural activities, recognizing their dedication and achievements.
