JAMMU, Feb12: The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Government Degree College (GDC) Kunjwani, in collaboration with IIM Jammu, organized a one-day workshop on “Entrepreneurship Awareness” today. The programme witnessed participation from 160 students representing various colleges across the Jammu region.
Dr Bhavana Sharma, Convener IIC, welcomed the participants and outlined the objectives of the workshop. Principal Dr Manisha Sarup Kohli, in her presidential address, highlighted the importance of institutional collaborations in promoting entrepreneurship and providing mentorship, funding access, and incubation support.
The IIM Jammu delegation, led by Dr Vivek Sharma, conducted interactive sessions on ideation, business model development, financial literacy, and digital growth strategies. Participants engaged in practical group exercises focusing on market analysis and scalability.
Faculty and students from GDC RS Pura, Purmandal, Bishnah, Samba and Vijaypur also attended. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Ramnik Kour
