GDC Akhnoor, GGM Science College script wins

JAMMU, Dec 8: Outplaying their rivals with convincing margins, Government Degree College (GDC) Akhnoor and GGM Science College Jammu began their campaign with a positive note in the Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi Tournament, which got underway at University of Jammu, here today.
The Tournament is being organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu and was inaugurated by Prof Dhian Singh Bhau its Director in an impressive and well attended function.
Earlier, GGM Science College defeated GDC Hiranagar by 13 points and Lucky Sharma was the star performer, who earned maximum points.
In another match, GDC Akhnoor thrashed GDC Rajouri by a big margin of 24 points.     From GDC Akhnoor, Chander and Harsh Deep displayed superb raiding and catching skills.
The matches were officiated by Anil Sharma, Ankush Gupta, Keshav Singh, Harpreet Singh, Ankush Sharma and Gagan Kumar.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr Brij Baloria, Romesh Sharma, P D Singh, Sandeep Sharma, Gautam, Vikesh Sharma, Ravish Vaid and Narayani Jamwal.
